Information on the summer festival and Bon dance held around Soshigaya-Okura Station in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. At Soshigaya Minami Shopping Street, the "Soshigaya Minami Shopping Street Summer Festival" will be held on Sunday, August 30, and can be enjoyed from 16:00 to 19:00 (tentative). In addition, the "Soshigaya Station Front Bon Dance" organized by the Soshigaya Shopping Street Promotion Association will be held on Saturday, September 5, at Soshigaya-Okura Station Front Plaza (Ultraman Plaza) from 16:00 to 21:00 (tentative). At these events, yagura towers will be set up, and you can enjoy Bon dancing to local songs, as well as stalls offering yakisoba, shaved ice, yo-yo fishing, and more. In particular, "Soshigaya Station Front Bon Dance" has outstanding access because the venue is in front of the station, and when the lanterns light up at dusk, a summery atmosphere spreads, making it popular with families. In some years, taiko drum experiences for small children are also held. With a community-based, welcoming atmosphere, these events are perfect for a young child's festival debut.
