Japanese name:第48回 世田谷区たまがわ花火大会
📅 Sat, Oct 3, 2026
About this event
Held as an autumn festival, the "48th Setagaya-ku Tamagawa Fireworks Festival" takes this year's theme as "Sho: Soaring through the Night Sky, a New Flight," and will be held jointly with Kawasaki City. For safety measures, the maximum firework shell size is size No. 6, but spectators can still enjoy artistic, glamorous fireworks unique to Setagaya. The fireworks will be launched from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, stage events will run from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, and food/vendor stalls will be open from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The venue is Futako-Tamagawa Ryokuchi Sports Ground. Information on paid viewing seats will be released in the July 1 issue of "Ward News" and on the official website. Approximately 6,000 fireworks will be launched over about 60 minutes, drawing around 270,000 visitors in typical years. The event will be cancelled in case of stormy weather.
