About this event

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Shueisha's founding, this exhibition unlocks the archive of fashion magazines published over approximately 60 years since the launch of "Weekly Seventeen" in 1968, tracing their history. It focuses on how images of women and men, as well as perceptions of gender depicted within the pages, have changed with the times. For whom and for what do we dress, and how have we lived? Through this exhibition, we hope to mark a new step toward a future where everyone has freedom and many choices. At the venue, you can experience the social changes reflected in fashion magazines.
