TOKIO Doki Doki Anime Workshop

Held at Anime Tokyo Station in Toshima-ku, Tokyo, the TOKIO Doki Doki Anime Workshop is a hands-on event targeted at elementary and junior high school students, also perfect for summer vacation independent research projects. In this workshop, participants use tablets to learn the mechanics of stop-motion animation, sound expression, and the production process, and collaborate with one another to create an original animation. In an environment akin to an actual animation production site, children can experience the process of completing a single piece of work through communication with peers. Instruction is provided by Ms. Mayuko Masaki, representative of Anime no Iroha, who has extensive experience practicing animation education both domestically and internationally, with content designed to encourage awareness and growth in children. The produced animation can be received as digital data at a later date and utilized as a summer vacation memory or learning achievement.
