The 9th Regular Concert presented by the Saikei Philharmonic Orchestra. With Schumann's Symphony No. 4 as the main program, it colors a summer moment with music. Composed by Schumann as a birthday present for his wife Clara, this piece depicts soundscapes changing pleasantly from a shadowy opening to lively development and romantic sounds filled with tenderness. In addition, Wagner's 'Tannhauser' Overture and Sibelius's 'Karelia' Suite will also be performed. The venue is Sunpearl Arakawa Main Hall, and admission is free (donation basis). Doors open at 13:30 and the performance starts at 14:00.
