About this event

Produced by Mansaku Nomura, a Living National Treasure and Honorary Citizen of Nerima Ward, 'Midori no Kaze Nerima Takigi Noh' will be held. Many Noh performers associated with Nerima Ward will appear, including the father-and-son duo Mansaku and Mansai Nomura, as well as Kicho and Kiyoka Umewaka, holders of Important Intangible Cultural Property comprehensive certification. In the Noh part, 'Matsukaze' will be performed, depicting the story of Matsukaze and Murasame, the ghosts of diving women loved by Ariwara no Yukihira. In the Kyogen part, 'Sanbonbashira' will be presented, humorously depicting three servants resolving an unusual riddle. This event will be held at Shakujii Matsunokaze Cultural Park, Plaza of Flowers and Trees, and in case of rain, it will be held in the Main Hall of Nerima Cultural Center. Tickets are accepted via web application (lottery) and phone application (first-come, first-served).
