About this event
The 42nd Katsushika City Industrial Fair: Katsushika, A Treasure Box Weaving the Future (Industrial, Commercial & Tourism Exhibition) is held to introduce local industries to residents, deepen understanding of industries in the ward, and foster interaction between industry and citizens. The venues are Techno Plaza Katsushika and the Tokyo Metropolitan Joto Area Small and Medium Sized Enterprise Promotion Center. The Industrial, Commercial & Tourism Exhibition will run from Friday, October 16, to Sunday, October 18, 2026 (Reiwa 8), open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Various organizations will exhibit a wide range of hands-on activities, including casting, sales, and games involving antimony products, trial sessions with intellectual training devices, vacuum forming machine demonstrations, DIY car inspection classes, free sublimation transfer printing on mugs and hand towels for children, rubber product experiences, electroplating workshops, screw-making experiences, metal stamping parts exhibitions, pin badge making, food hygiene quizzes, tax quizzes and a 100-million-yen weight experience, demonstrations of knife and scissors repair, garapon lottery, cardboard bed and pillow trials, bracelet making workshops, original design drip coffee bag making workshops, vocational interest testing, future electrician experience (planetarium making), golden glittering organic matter exhibitions, sawdust clay crafting and pencil grabbing games, pop-up paper craft making, a 100-million-yen weight experience corner, dried flower aroma sachet workshops, logical thinking exercises, waste reduction and recycling promotion quizzes, breath odor measurement and dental consultations. Additionally, Tokyo Metropolitan Honjo Technical High School will host sandblasting and power strip assembly workshops.
