At Katsushika Symphony Hills, the symbol of Katsushika Ward, the "32nd Katsushika International Exchange Festival" will be held again this year. Centered around local international exchange organizations, this festival offers a rich multicultural experience featuring introductions to foreign cultures, hands-on Japanese cultural experiences, attractions to watch and participate in, game tournaments, and more. At the venue, programs where visitors can move their bodies and have fun are prepared, including corners for playing in foreign languages, corners to experience traditional Japanese performing arts and traditional games, Korean jango drum experiences, and balloon art. Visitors can also savor food cultures with cultural introductions and hands-on activities from countries like Malaysia, Mexico, and Brunei, introductions of home countries by Japanese language class learners, an Asian cafe, Korean food stalls, and food trucks serving various national cuisines. Furthermore, a "Japanese Speech Contest by Foreign Nationals" themed on life in Japan, cultural differences, community interaction, future dreams, and more will be held, allowing visitors to feel new insights and the importance of exchange from the participants' perspectives. It is an event where everyone from children to adults can enjoy international exchange all day long.
