Hachioji Kuruma Ningyo Puppet Theater: Dokuso

About this event

The 'Hachioji Kuruma Ningyo Dokuso' performance presented by the Hachioji Kuruma Ningyo Nishikawa Koryu Troupe. Featuring the Hachioji Kuruma Ningyo Youth Group, Kandayu Takemoto (tayu chanter) and Kentaro Mori (shamisen) will perform the pieces 'Sanbaso,' 'Tokaidochu Hizakurige (Rantoba no Dan),' 'Manzai,' and 'Hidakagawa Kiyohime: Foxfire (Excerpt ver.).' It is sponsored by the Hachioji City Board of Education. Doors open at 13:30, and the performance starts at 14:00. Prior to the performance, a 'Children's Class Recital' (free admission) is also scheduled. Tickets are 3,000 yen for unreserved general seating and free for elementary school students and younger. The ticket release date is June 19, 2026.
