Yokai Bon Odori 2026

About this event

"Yokai Bon Odori 2026" is a unique festival held at GREEN SPRINGS (Tachikawa City, Tokyo) where participants dress up as yokai (supernatural monsters/spirits) to dance Bon Odori. The first edition was held in 2019, and it has been held in Tachikawa City since 2022, marking its 6th edition this year. The venue offers a rich variety of content, including a yagura tower stage featuring live artist performances, a Yokai Disco with DJ performances, and a Yokai Yatai Village lined with yokai merchandise stalls, makeup corners, and festival stalls. Featuring even more powered-up content this year, you can dress up as a yokai, dance Bon Odori, and spend a special 3 days of summer. The recommended dress code is "Yokai costume" or "Yukata," and participants can enjoy Bon Odori with live band performances. With live concerts and DJ performances by gorgeous performers, a yokai contest, festival food stalls, and more, it is an unparalleled Bon Odori event.
