Japanese name:東京文化財ウィーク2026~国登録有形文化財特別公開見学会~
📅 Sat, Oct 24, 2026 - Tue, Nov 3, 2026
About this event
As part of Tokyo Cultural Heritage Week 2026, areas of the Former Eiji Yoshikawa Residence (Soshido), a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property normally closed to the public, will be specially opened. During the tour, volunteer guides will lead visitors through the interior of the earthen storehouse (kura), the second floor of the main house, and the attic. This is a rare opportunity to experience the atmosphere of a historic building. Each tour lasts approximately 30 minutes, with a capacity of 10 participants per session on a first-come, first-served basis. Reception and assembly take place at the Nagayamon gate of the Ome City Eiji Yoshikawa Memorial Hall. To ensure safety, video recording during the tour is prohibited, and photography is permitted only in designated areas. Visitors are also requested to refrain from touching architectural fittings, interior fixtures, furniture, and other items during the visit.
