Kids English Theatre 2026

About this event

'Kids English Theatre 2026' is a participatory stage project where children view English not as 'study' but as a tool for 'expression,' fusing theater, dance, art, and visual staging. Children will be involved not only in English dialogue, singing, and physical expression, but also in making costumes and props as well as stage space direction, creating a single stage production together with peers. Visual staging using projection mapping is also planned; in an immersive space where the entire venue transforms into a story world, children express their feelings through their own words and bodies. Conducted in a hybrid format combining online lessons and an intensive in-person summer vacation workshop, participation is possible from anywhere across the country. Working alongside professionals in English education, stage performance, and artistic experiences, children can enjoy a valuable experience fostering creativity and expressiveness. Themes such as 'peace' and 'coexistence' are also woven into the work, conveying the joy of using English as a communication tool.
