About this event
The 48th Kodaira Citizen's Festival, one of the largest annual events in Kodaira City, will be held mainly along "Akashia-dori", an urban planning road completed in 1976. Featuring handmade children's portable shrines (mikoshi), a dance parade, adult portable shrines, and numerous food and game stalls, it is a festival where local residents can come together and enjoy. On the day, the children's mikoshi parade is scheduled to march along Akashia-dori (from Nakamachi Intersection to Kodaira Danchi Nishi Intersection) from 9:45 AM to 10:15 AM. In addition, applications are open for organizations and groups wishing to set up stalls, open to welfare activity groups and volunteer groups. Various attractions designed to create local vibrancy and deepen interaction among participants are scheduled at the venue.
