About this event
Kunitachi Environment Festa is an annual event where citizens, businesses, and the local government come together to think about the environment. The 28th edition is scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00. The venues are FSX Hall (Kunitachi Civic Arts Small Hall), Yaho Daiyon Park, and the City Hall West Plaza. The Children's Environmental Art Exhibition will be open on Friday, October 16 from 10:00 to 17:00, and on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 to 14:30. In past editions, highlights included the children's environmental exhibition, a picture book exchange, and delicious food stalls. In addition, knife sharpening has been an annual favorite activity, held at the Kunitachi Silver Human Resources Center stall in Yaho Daiyon Park. The event also promotes waste reduction initiatives, such as using reusable dishware and encouraging attendees to bring their own chopsticks, utensils, and cups.
