The 59th Tenkaichi Fair

Organized and operated by the Youth Division of the Kunitachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the "59th Tenkaichi" is the city's largest open-air commercial festival, held every autumn along Daigaku-dori Avenue. Local commercial and industrial businesses set up booths along Daigaku-dori Avenue to hold special sales expressing their gratitude to the community. Loved by many since its first edition in 1964, the event brings together merchants and industrialists in Kunitachi City under the core philosophy: "Walk the path of merchants with pride before the world, and foster and support shopping streets together with consumers. This leads to the comprehensive development of community building," creating a vibrant atmosphere. Typically, the Kunitachi Citizens' Festival is held concurrently on the final day, further heightening the local excitement. It is also a great opportunity to discover interesting local shops and directly experience the charm of the city.
