About this event
Full of Kunitachi's autumn bounty! The '49th Kunitachi Agricultural Festival', held at Kunitachi City Hall and Yaho Daiyon Park, is a harvest festival promoting the importance of local production for local consumption. It will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Sunday, November 15 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. At the venue, an exhibition of an impressive vegetable treasure boat and direct sales of fresh vegetables and fruits will take place. At the competitive exhibition, you can view submitted vegetables and fruits that showcase the producers' daily dedication and drive for technical improvement. In addition, free distribution (limited quantities) of flower seedlings (pansies, violas, flowering kale) and saplings (olive, blueberry, etc.) is scheduled, proving so popular that lines form from early hours. Health-related corners such as Vege-Check (estimated vegetable intake assessment) and frailty check/prevention will also be set up. You can enjoy milk sales promoting food education, as well as marching performances by Brass Honkers. There will also be displays of agricultural machinery, activities of the Agricultural Committee, and four-season landscape displays of Shiroyama Sato-no-Ie, providing opportunities to learn deeply about agriculture. Food stalls serving karaage, takoyaki, grilled meat, and more will be bustling, making it an excellent opportunity for producers and citizens to interact directly and learn about Kunitachi's agriculture.
