Hamura City & Toyota Motor Hamura Joint Children's Workshop: "Let's Launch! Plastic Bottle Rockets!"

About this event

In this popular annual children's workshop, professionals from Toyota Motor Hamura will serve as instructors. Participants can learn the fun of manufacturing and scientific principles through the experience of crafting their own plastic bottle rockets and actually launching them. This summer, launch your handmade rocket high into the sky and make unforgettable memories. The workshop begins with crafting in the Creative Room on the 3rd floor of Primo Hall Yutorogi, followed by rocket launches at the Multi-Purpose Ground in S&D Sports Park Fujimi (Fujimi Park). The workshop is open to 2nd through 6th grade elementary school students (2nd graders must be accompanied by a guardian). Participation is free of charge. Items to bring include drinks and a tote bag to take home the crafted rocket. As hot weather is expected, please take thorough heatstroke prevention measures on your own.
