The 'Tokyo Hamura Super Sprint Triathlon' held in Hamura City, Tokyo, will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, set at S&D Sports Park Fujimi (Fujimi Park). The category is a super sprint format consisting of a 400m swim, a 10km bike ride, and a 2,700m run. The divisions available are Elite Division (Men/Women: prize money race), Junior High School Division (Boys/Girls), General Division for ages 16 and older (Men/Women), and 3-Person Relay Division. The bike categories include Road Bike/TT Bike, MTB, and Mamachari/City Bike divisions. In the Elite Division, prize money is prepared for 1st to 5th place overall for both men and women, with 100,000 yen awarded to 1st place. Awards for overall men/women and age categories are also provided in the Junior High School Division, General Division, and 3-Person Relay Division. On the day before the race, cleaning of the swim venue and a test swim will be conducted. On the race day, starting with the swim launch below the Tama River Hamura Weir, the event will proceed using a wave start system. The awards ceremony will be held at S&D Sports Park Fujimi. As an entry requirement, a swimming ability of 500m or more is necessary, and a self-declaration of swimming ability is required upon entry registration. Wetsuits are recommended, and drafting during the bike leg is prohibited for all except the Elite Division. Bicycle helmets are mandatory.
