In Ome City, the "Sports and Recreation Festival" has been held for the past 30 years on Sports Day (formerly Health and Sports Day). Since 2022, the event content has been partially renewed and held as "Sports Day Ome." It is a major annual event packed with everything from popular sports programs to activities not usually experienced, such as esports and new sports. Please come to the venue with your family and friends! Of course, there are also plenty of programs that can be enjoyed alone! The purpose of the event is to provide opportunities to introduce and experience sports and recreational activities that can be enjoyed according to diverse lifestyles and each life stage, aiming to realize a healthy city full of smiles where anyone can enjoy sports anytime, anywhere throughout their life.
