Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse will hold 'Red Brick Sunset 2026' at the Event Plaza from August 1 to August 30, 2026. Taking advantage of the open location of Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, this popular event is based on the concept of 'experiencing an exotic atmosphere while staying in Yokohama' and has become a summer tradition in Yokohama, marking its 19th edition this year. The theme for 2026 is 'Santa Monica,' known as a resort destination on the US West Coast. To help visitors feel refreshed even on hot summer days, the venue is inspired by Santa Monica's 'Sunset Beach,' expressing the sophisticated cityscape of the area as well as a retro, pop, and colorful world view. In addition, 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of the opening of 'Route 66,' of which Santa Monica is the terminus, coinciding with the milestone of the 250th anniversary of American Independence. In a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of watching the sunset, visitors can fully enjoy an overseas resort mood while savoring local gourmet food with an American vibe. The venue decoration is themed after a calm sunset beach and colorful, 'retro-cute' 1950s American diners, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the world of Santa Monica. In terms of gourmet offerings, you can indulge in West Coast local food, featuring a wide selection from classic staples to cool, refreshing ice cream.
