Conveying the atmosphere from the time the Port of Yokohama opened, the 'Bashamichi Festival' will be held from Saturday, October 31 to Tuesday (national holiday), November 3, 2026, at the Bashamichi Shopping Street. During the period, British-made horse-drawn carriages and rickshaws will come and go, and people dressed in glamorous attire reminiscent of the Rokumeikan era will also make appearances. A variety of events will be held, including the 'Bashamichi Marche' with wagon sales, concerts, outdoor chess, and a stamp rally. While strolling along streets filled with historical ambiance, you can experience a special moment as if you had traveled back in time to Yokohama at the opening of its port.
