About this event

With the theme "Tracing Past and Present Changes Through Nishiki-e Woodblock Prints," this walking tour covers approximately 5 km over about 3 hours and 30 minutes, departing from a site associated with Tora Gozen of Oiso, passing through Hiratsuka-shuku's Kyo-gata and Edo Mitsuke, and visiting Okiku-zuka. Participants will meet and register in front of Lusca at the North Exit of Hiratsuka Station, then travel by bus to start the tour. The tour is scheduled to conclude at Okiku-zuka (Beniya-cho). The tour has a capacity of 20 participants, and the participation fee is 1,500 yen (including snacks, insurance, and materials). Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended. The tour will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026; in the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by the day before. Applications open at 10:00 on Friday, August 21, 2026, and close at 17:00 on Friday, September 11. If applications exceed capacity, a lottery will be held, with results announced by Tuesday, September 15. Advance bank transfer of the participation fee is required. The event is organized by the Hiratsuka City Tourism Association (Tour Guide Group).
