The 'Fire Department Splash Event 2026' is an event where people of all generations, from children to adults, can learn about fire prevention while feeling close to the fire department through water spraying from fire engines and classic summer play. This event is held with the aim of promoting fire prevention. Participants can deepen their understanding of fire department activities and disaster prevention while enjoying water play that beats the summer heat. Details of the event will be announced on the official Instagram of the Zushi City Fire Department Headquarters, and applications will also be accepted via direct message (DM) to the same account. The application period and the number of participating groups are set, and a lottery will be held if there are many applicants. The target participants are elementary school students and younger, and preschoolers must be accompanied by a guardian. Through this unique experience, it is hoped that local residents' disaster prevention awareness will increase and a sense of familiarity with the fire department will be fostered.
