About this event
Celebrating its 50th edition this year, the "Suzukawa Festival" will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Suzukawa Kaikan and its front parking lot within the Isehara Industrial Estate Cooperative Association. Co-hosted by the Isehara Industrial Estate Cooperative Association and the Kanagawa Metal Press Industry Cooperative, this festival aims to deepen friendship and interaction among union members, employees, and residents of neighboring districts, while fostering the further development of the industrial estate. On the day, a celebratory sake barrel opening (kagami-wari) commemorating the 50th anniversary will be performed, with complimentary sake provided. As in previous years, there will be a raffle draw and game corners such as ring toss, alongside numerous food stalls serving festival classics like frankfurters, popcorn, cotton candy, and barley noodles. Japanese drum (taiko) performances by neighboring neighborhood associations and volunteer groups will also be presented on-site to enliven the event. The event will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
