Japanese name:第19回小出川彼岸花まつり
📅 Sat, Sep 26, 2026
About this event
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, the "19th Koide River Red Spider Lily Festival" will be held along the Koide River, which flows through Fujisawa City, Chigasaki City, and Samukawa Town. The red spider lilies along the Koide River usually reach peak bloom from late September to early October, with the autumn equinox period being the most beautiful time. During the festival, refreshment stalls and rest areas will be set up at the Samukawa Town Ozo Venue (Youth Plaza), as well as the Uchimodoroki Venue and Endo Venue in Fujisawa City. A stamp rally will also be held where the first 600 participants who collect 4 stamps will receive a gift. While admiring the red spider lilies, visitors can also see Mount Fuji in the distance from certain areas on clear days. The viewing area spans approximately 3 km along the Koide River from Daikoku Bridge to Samukawa Town Youth Plaza. Scheduled attractions include refreshment stalls, rest areas, and the stamp rally. The stamp rally will run from 9:00 to 15:00 on Saturday, September 26, and collecting 4 stamps on the back of the festival flyer allows the first 600 visitors at each venue to receive a prize (up to 2 items per family). The event will be held in light rain, but postponed in case of severe weather.
