39th Kaisei Town Awa Odori Festival

About this event

Held on the most passionate night of the year in Kaisei Town—the smallest town in eastern Japan—is the "39th Kaisei Town Awa Odori". Approximately 800 dancers, including local neighborhood association troupes united in spirit as well as guest troupes from outside the town, will parade through the streets around the Kaisei Town Office. There is also a "Niwaka Stage" where drop-in participation is warmly welcomed, making it a vibrant night where visitors' hearts will dance along. Under the theme of "Dance, Connect, Get Excited," it is a festival where the entire local community comes together in high spirits.
