Omi Shrine Autumn Festival

The Autumn Festival of Omi Shrine, which boasts a 726-year history since its founding, will be held mainly at Kamoyama Park. During the festival period, food stalls and vendors will line the shopping street in front of the station, creating a lively atmosphere. At night, approximately 200 fireworks will be launched over two days, coloring the night sky. The dedicatory fireworks display is scheduled to take place around 20:00 for about 30 minutes. In addition, Daitai Kagura (sacred Shinto music and dance) will be dedicated on September 2. This is a traditional festival that has continued since the shrine's founding and is beloved by local residents. Visitors can enjoy eating at street stalls and watching the fireworks illuminating the night sky.
