About this event
Hokuhoku Matsuri 2026, hosted by Hokuetsu Express Co., Ltd., will be held at Tokamachi Station West Exit Park in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture. At the venue, original Hokuhoku Line merchandise including new items and decommissioned railway goods will be sold. In addition, a grand raffle featuring local specialties from along the railway line will be held twice, at 11:30 and 15:00. Neighboring railway companies including Echigo Tokimeki Railway, Nagano Electric Railway, Ueda Electric Railway, Alpico Kotsu, and Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park will also set up booths and sell merchandise. For food and drinks, 4 food trucks and 3 tent booths will be available. In the hands-on activity area, visitors can enjoy keychain crafting and tote bag coloring (fee applies). In the exhibition area, a panel display summarizing the history of the Hokuhoku Line will be held, along with model train operations inside the Tokamachi Station West Exit Concourse.
