"Tsubame-Sanjo Factory Festival 2026," an annual event where visitors can experience the exceptional craftsmanship of the Tsubame-Sanjo region, will be held for four days from Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4, 2026. A record 157 companies will participate and open their manufacturing sites to the public. This year's theme is "Spinning, Connecting." Participating companies span a wide range of industries including metal products, cutlery, machine parts, and crafts, each showcasing their unique techniques and product appeal at their respective factories. Visitors can tour factories that are usually not open to the public and experience the artisans' skills and passion for making things firsthand. In addition, product exhibitions and sales as well as workshops will be held at each factory, making it a great opportunity to discover the profound depth of Tsubame-Sanjo's craftsmanship. Through this festival, the event aims to revitalize local industry and deepen understanding of manufacturing.
