Sister Cities and Joetsu City Tourism and Product Fair

The 'Sister Cities and Joetsu City Tourism and Product Fair' will be held, bringing together specialty products from Joetsu City's sister and friendship cities. Local gourmet dishes and specialty products from each region will be lined up at the venue, such as smoked salmon from Iwanai Town, Hokkaido, Yonezawa beef skewers from Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, and gohei mochi and walnut soba from Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. Oyaki, Shine Muscat grapes, and nikoyaki will also be sold. Furthermore, events that families can enjoy are planned, including police vehicle exhibitions, an icing cookie-making experience, and a quiz rally about the sister and friendship cities. On the event stage, Japanese drum (wadaiko) performances, song shows, dance performances, and more will be showcased to liven up the venue. Admission is free.
