About this event

At the special exhibition 'Mechanisms of Natural Phenomena' held at the Toyama Science Museum, visitors can learn through hands-on interactive exhibits about the mechanisms behind various natural phenomena—from everyday sights like clouds in the sky and ocean waves, to sudden events like typhoons and earthquakes. It explores the scientific laws and principles behind seemingly routine occurrences like 'wind blowing' and 'rain falling.' The exhibition is divided into three themes: 'Sky, Sea, and Earth,' allowing visitors to deepen their understanding through practical experiences such as creating a rainbow, observing river flows, wave movements, and wind vortexes. In addition, a Q&A corner on natural phenomena is set up so visitors can look into any questions they have. Exhibition commentary sessions called 'Science Live' are also held, providing opportunities to further deepen understanding of the exhibition contents.
