The 'Hirayanagi Lion Dance,' a traditional folk performing art handed down in Asahi Town, Toyama Prefecture, is known as a Shimoniikawa-style Tengu Dance Lion. Dedicated in prayers for bountiful harvests and regional safety, this lion dance has been preserved and passed down by local residents for many years.
