Ishikawa Central Urban Area Global EXP is an international exchange event held in cooperation by the Ishikawa Central Urban Area, which consists of six municipalities: Kanazawa City, Hakusan City, Kahoku City, Nonoichi City, Tsubata Town, and Uchinada Town. Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) from the six municipalities will gather, allowing participants to hear firsthand about the culture and life of their home countries. Ten CIRs from seven countries—Belgium, Canada, China, Germany, France, South Korea, and the United States—will introduce the highlights, climate, culture, cuisine, and more of their respective home countries. Deepening exchange also offers the perk of receiving foreign sweets. Additionally, there are corners where you can casually try English conversation with CIRs from English-speaking countries, as well as corners to hear overseas experiences and consult about studying abroad. Mini-lectures and individual consultations by specialized organizations are also available to resolve questions about living overseas or study abroad. Furthermore, a craft corner where you can handcraft decorations familiar in China, South Korea, the United States, Europe, and elsewhere, as well as a food and drink corner (paid) where you can enjoy global flavors from China, France, South Korea, the United States, and more, are provided. It is an event where you can broaden your world and yourself through a global experience at the end of summer vacation.
