Celebrating its 17th edition this year, Kanazawa JAZZ STREET is an event that communicates the charm of the city of Kanazawa through jazz music. With sightseeing spots in central Kanazawa serving as stages, jazz overflows throughout the town. The Eve Reception Live will be held on Friday, September 18, from 17:00 to 21:00. The Student Big Band Carnival will be held at the Hokkoku Shimbun Akabane Hall on Saturday, September 19, starting at 14:00, with all-reserved seating tickets priced at 4,000 yen in advance and 5,000 yen at the door. On Sunday, September 20, Toshiki Soejima will perform starting at 13:30, and Sarah Àlainn with Sarahband will perform starting at 18:30 at the Hokkoku Shimbun Akabane Hall. Ticket prices for both are all-reserved seating at 7,000 yen in advance and 8,000 yen at the door. On Monday (national holiday), September 21, Christian McBride & Ursa Major will perform at the Hokkoku Shimbun Akabane Hall starting at 19:00, with all-reserved seating tickets priced at 9,000 yen in advance and 10,000 yen at the door. In addition, free 'Street Corner Jazz Live' performances will also be held in the city center.
