This is a memorial service held to mark the death anniversary of founder Nichiren Daishonin. It is held at Kuonji Temple on Mount Minobu, with the sutra-chanting service starting at 10:00 AM and the Grand Memorial Service at 1:00 PM. The Manto lantern procession is scheduled for October 12. This service is an important event to commemorate the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin and praise his great achievements, attracting many worshipers.
