Chippu Summer Cooling Bon Odori Festival

Hosted by the Chippubetsu Town Tourism Association, the 'Chippu Summer Cooling Bon Odori Festival' will be held on Monday, August 19, at Fureai Plaza. The children's Bon Odori starts at 18:00, followed by the adult Bon Odori from 18:30. Afterward, the judging announcement and lottery will take place starting at 19:30. Group participation is open to teams of 5 or more junior high school students and older, featuring a 50,000 yen cash prize for the winning group and a 10,000 yen cash prize for the winning individual. In addition, a raffle with approximately 200 luxurious prizes is scheduled to be held. It is a traditional Bon Odori festival that brightens a summer night, where local residents and visitors can come together and have fun.
