Autumn Foliage at Koyodai

About this event

Koyodai is a scenic vantage point featuring a 360-degree grand panorama overlooking Mt. Fuji and the Aokigahara Jukai forest. In early November, visitors can encounter picturesque, magnificent autumn foliage scenery. A 15-minute climb from Koyodai brings you to Sankodai, where Lake Saiko, Lake Motosu, and Lake Shoji can be viewed. Walking about another hour from Sankodai while enjoying forest bathing, you reach Gokodai, where a log-built observation deck stands, allowing you to take in views of Mt. Fuji while breathing in the crisp, refreshing air. The course connecting Koyodai to Sankodai and Gokodai consists of gentle ridge trails, making it ideal for family hiking. Selected as a model course of the Tokai Nature Trail, this area is blessed with captivating natural landscapes.
