Autumn Foliage Gastronomy Cruise

Set against the backdrop of Lake Kawaguchi in autumn, this special on-lake experience allows guests to enjoy gastronomy utilizing seasonal ingredients while taking in stunning views of Mount Fuji and autumn leaves. Lake Kawaguchi's only floating restaurant, "HAMANASHI HOUSEBOAT", will hold this event exclusively for four days on October 31, November 14, November 21, and November 28, 2026. Chef Kenichi Omori of "mieux restaurant", originally from the local Oshino Village in Yamanashi Prefecture, will serve French cuisine featuring an abundance of seasonal ingredients nurtured at the northern foot of Mount Fuji, such as Lake Kawaguchi pond smelt (wakasagi), Fujinosuke salmon, Fujizakura pork, and Koshu beef. In addition to 9 dishes packed in a premium dinner box, warm pumpkin potage and chestnut risotto will be served. For drinks, alcoholic pairings centered on Yamanashi wines selected by sommelier Yusa Nagahara or non-alcoholic pairings are available to enjoy pairings with the dishes. The cruise departs at 16:00, allowing guests to leisurely admire the autumn scenery transitioning into dusk from onboard over approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
