Shinshu Iizuna Highlands Rogaining

About this event

The 8th "Shinshu Iizuna Highlands Rogaining" will be held in the Iizuna Highlands at an elevation of 1,100 meters away from downtown Nagano City. Looking up at 1,917-meter Mt. Iizuna and set among beautiful woodlands colored by autumn foliage, this is a navigation sport where participants compete for points by visiting as many checkpoints as possible within the time limit using a map and point description sheet. The start and finish venue is Asobiba Nagano Park, a hot spring and accommodation facility. A commemorative original T-shirt will be provided to participants as a participation prize. While enjoying the nature of the Iizuna Highlands adorned with autumn flowers and foliage, participants can experience the joy of physical activity and interaction with family and friends. It not only provides an opportunity to promote health and purposeful living, but also offers a chance to discover wonderful scenic and tourist spots in Nagano City. A free introductory workshop for beginners will also be held, so anyone can participate with peace of mind.
