3rd Shinshu Itasha Fest in Nakano

The 3rd "Shinshu Itasha Fest in Nakano" will be held at Nakano City Disaster Prevention Plaza in Nagano Prefecture. This event aims to showcase the charms of Nakano City and serve as a gathering and exchange space for many people, including itasha (anime-decorated car) fans. In addition to approximately 50 itasha displayed at the venue, an itasha contest decided by visitor voting will also take place. Misako Iino, the voice actress for the PR character "Shinshu Nakano," is scheduled to serve as the MC, and an official municipal itasha featuring "Shinshu Nakano" will be exhibited alongside merchandise sales. Furthermore, working vehicle displays such as police and fire department vehicles, kitchen car food trucks, and workshops for children are planned, creating an event enjoyable for all ages and demographics beyond just itasha enthusiasts. Through this event, the organizers aim to introduce the rich nature, specialties, and sightseeing attractions of Nakano City to many people, expanding a new circle of interaction that fuses itasha culture with local resources.
