2026 Minowa Town Citizens' Cultural Festival

The "2026 Minowa Town Citizens' Cultural Festival," held in Minowa Town, Nagano Prefecture, is an event designed to showcase residents' arts and culture and deepen community exchange. It will be held from Saturday, October 31 to Sunday, November 1 at the Minowa Town Cultural Center and the Minowa Community Exchange Center. At the "Exhibition Plaza," works by local organizations, individuals, nursery schools, and schools will be on display to showcase the fruits of their daily efforts. In addition, special experiences for visitors are planned, including a free matcha green tea booth on October 31 and a free Chinese tea booth on November 1. At the "Performing Arts Plaza," stage presentations by local groups and individuals will take place starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 31. Furthermore, at the "Music Plaza," live musical performances by local groups and individuals will be presented starting at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 1. Around the venue, the "Cultural Festival Plaza" will feature food and drink sales from food trucks and other vendors, open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on both October 31 and November 1. Applications for participants in the "Exhibition Plaza" are also open, with a deadline of 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 8. The artwork drop-off date is Friday, October 30. Exhibiting groups from the previous year will be sent separate notices. Applications for the "Performing Arts Plaza" and "Music Plaza" have already closed. Times and details for each festival area are subject to change.
