The Reiwa 8 (2026) Minamiminowa Village Citizens' Cultural Festival will be held over two days on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Villagers' Center. Throughout the two days of the cultural festival, an exhibition of works will take place, and stage presentations are scheduled for the first day. In addition, starting at 1:30 PM on the first day, Saturday, October 31, a cultural lecture titled "2026 Buzzword Awards Bold Predictions! The Power of Words that Energize Japan" will be presented by Mitsuru Yaku. This lecture includes sign language interpretation and is free of charge, though numbered admission tickets are required. Applications are currently being accepted for artwork exhibitions and stage presentations, with the application period running from Tuesday, September 1 to Monday, September 14, 2026.
