100-Person Exchange BBQ in Shinano Town 2026

About this event

"100-Person Exchange BBQ in Shinano Town 2026" is an event held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Shinano Town's municipal system, aiming to deepen interaction between local residents and participants from outside the town. Rather than just a simple BBQ, it provides a venue where people who normally have no contact can connect naturally through group assignments and icebreaking games. The venue is "Kobayashi Farm" in Shinano Town, where visitors can enjoy the rich nature of Shinano Town with the possibility of tasting the season's last white sweet corn. The event aims to give participants the spotlight to enjoy themselves and to increase the number of visitors to Shinano Town and contributors to local revitalization. Everyone is welcome—young and old, male and female, residents of Shinano Town or visitors from outside—as long as they wish to enjoy socializing. In past editions, 117 people participated in 2024 and 241 in 2025, demonstrating significant growth. On the day of the event, exchange-promoting activities such as a bingo tournament and Molkky games are planned, with numerous sponsored prizes prepared.
