Autumn Sake Festival Gifu ~Enchanted by Gifu's Local Sake 2026~

About this event

This is a sake tasting event bringing together 90 carefully selected brands to drink this autumn from 30 sake breweries across Gifu Prefecture. At the venue, visitors can enjoy autumn-exclusive brands aged over the summer such as "Hiyaoroshi" and "Akiagari", as well as sparkling sake and liqueurs. The lineup is designed so that even those not used to drinking sake can enjoy it. Two daily talk sessions delving into the appeal of sake will also be held. On Saturday, October 24, "SAKE Talk: Sake & Snack Pairing Edition" will take place, featuring brewery owners from Gifu Prefecture discussing pairings between sake and appetizers. On Sunday, October 25, "Sake Rice Grower and Brewer Cross Talk: Getting to Know Gifu's Sake Rice" will be held, discussing the appeal and brewing of Gifu's sake rice varieties. The talk shows are free to view. At the venue, sake and snacks can be purchased in exchange for food and drink coins. The starter set includes food and drink coins, an original ochoko sake cup, and a wristband.
