Ogaki Sunflower Field 2026

About this event

'Ogaki Sunflower Field 2026' will be held across a vast area of approximately 3.2 hectares in Tairacho, Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, where approximately 140,000 hybrid sunflowers bloom in full glory. This variety reaches a plant height of about 1 m 30 cm, blooms with large flowers 20 to 30 cm in diameter, and blooms about 60 days after sowing. A cooperation fee of 250 yen per person (free for junior high school students and younger) is required for the maintenance and management of the sunflower field, traffic control, and other operations. During the period, 3 temporary parking lots with a capacity of about 250 cars will be provided, but using public transportation is also recommended due to limited spaces. Food, beverages, and other items will also be sold at the venue, allowing visitors to spend a relaxing time while enjoying the beautiful sunflower scenery. The blooming status of the sunflower field is also published on the Ogaki City website, which can serve as a guide for when to visit.
