The Higashi-Mino Gohei Mochi Festival, where you can enjoy Gohei mochi—a local specialty of the Higashi-Mino region—will be held at Toki Premium Outlets. This event showcases the charm of Gifu's rich food culture through traditionally passed-down Gohei mochi. A key feature of Gohei mochi is the variety of differences in shape, sauce, and skewer styles depending on the region and shop. In the Higashi-Mino region located in southeastern Gifu Prefecture, it is sold at around 120 shops and is a beloved soul food long cherished by prefectural residents. This time, nine shops, including first-time participants, will gather, allowing visitors to taste and compare a diverse array of Gohei mochi. In addition to enjoying regional flavor differences, merchandising and tourism promotion booths from Higashi-Mino cities and towns will also be featured at the venue, offering a chance to connect with local attractions through food.
