About this event
The 9th National Entertainment Festival is an entertainment event held across two days on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Kakamigahara Civic Park in Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture. Designed with an Autumn Halloween & Picnic theme, it is planned as an outdoor gaming event enjoyed across a spacious park setting. The event features hands-on game demos, exhibitions, and merchandise booths by game developers and indies, outdoor stage events, various contests, a gourmet zone, and a traditional festival stall zone, offering varied content that both game enthusiasts and local residents can enjoy all day. Last year, mascot characters (costumed mascots) from many exhibiting publishers joined in, enlivening stage events and booths. This year as well, diverse programs are prepared, including game demos, exhibitions, merchandise booths, and large-scale gourmet stalls serving local tastes. As a festival for gaming fans nationwide, it is expected to welcome crowds of visitors.
