About this event
Held in Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture, the "Christmas Family Concert" is a musical event for preschoolers and their families to enjoy Christmas music played on marimba and percussion. Performed by Honoka Yamada (marimba), Arisa Iguchi (marimba), and Yuki Maruyama (percussion), the concert features familiar Christmas songs such as "The Careless Santa Claus," "Jingle Bells," and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," along with anime music. By encountering the sounds and reverberations of authentic instruments, it offers children a chance to feel closer to music. With the concept that it is completely fine if children cry, laugh, or cannot sit still, parents and children can freely enjoy the music together. The venue is the Naka Welfare Center Assembly Room, and admission is free. Capacity is approximately 150 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications open on Tuesday, November 17 at 8:30 via a dedicated form.
