Special Exhibition: Kasamatsu Model Train Exhibition

About this event

At the Kasamatsu Town History and Future Museum, the 'Kasamatsu Model Train Exhibition' will be held for both adults and children to enjoy. At the venue, in addition to two N-gauge (9 mm rail width) operating sessions (Gifu Train and Shinkansen), exhibitions and running sessions of the larger, more precise, and impressive HO-gauge (16.5 mm rail width) will take place. In addition, photos of nostalgic railway vehicles, exhibitions of rare railway memorabilia, and a corner where children can play with toy trains are provided. As special events, N-gauge running sessions by railway enthusiast group 'Gifu Tore' and operating sessions with live announcements by freelance announcer Chiho Toru, who is also known as an announcer for Meitetsu and Nagoya Municipal Subway, will be held. Furthermore, a lecture titled 'National Treasures and Railways' by Koushi Ohno on the theme of railways will be conducted.
