Summer Special Project: Dairan Sekigahara Summer Campaign 2026

Gifu Sekigahara Battlefield Memorial Museum is collaborating with the manga 'Dairan Sekigahara' to host the summer special project 'Dairan Sekigahara Summer Campaign 2026' touring the memorial museum and the Seino region. In this project, a stamp rally visiting a total of 8 checkpoints set up across Sekigahara Town, Ogaki City, Tarui Town, and Yoro Town will be held, where life-sized cutouts of warlords drawn by the original author, Hideki Miyashita, will welcome visitors. Participants who collect stamps will receive an original warlord card as a gift. In addition, an original art exhibition of the manga 'Dairan Sekigahara' will be held, featuring original drawings depicting the Battle of Sekigahara, a corner introducing participating warlords, and commemorative photo spots. Furthermore, on August 22, 2026, a special talk show 'Hideki Miyashita x Tetsuo Owada: Sekigahara Depicted in Dairan Sekigahara' featuring author Hideki Miyashita and museum director Tetsuo Owada will be held, delving into the unique perspectives and interpretations embedded in the work. Other events include 'Yurutto Sengoku Walk in Sekigahara,' where Sengoku-period-related mascot characters from across the country gather in Sekigahara, and a workshop 'Let's Make a Pop-up Battle Formation Map!' to create a 3D model of the Battle of Sekigahara deployment chart, making it an ideal event for creating summer vacation memories. Sales of collaboration goods and limited menu items are also scheduled.
